Reactivate Your Expired Offer
Each Institution will have different policies in regards to reactivating an expired offer. You must meet the conditions listed within their polices thresholds listed below and meet any other requirements of the selected institution.
Institution Reactivation Policies
If a response is not received by the date and time specified on your offer letter, your offer will expire. If you receive an offer in a higher preference, any previous offers may also expire.
If the offer expires:
- You lose your right to the offer;
- You will not be considered for any other courses.
There are instances where you may be able to reactivate your offer, for instance, a request for a late acceptance or deferment.
Reactivating your expired offer depends on the following:
- The policy of the institution offering the course
- The level of demand for the course
- Whether there are still places available
- Whether the course has already started.
Australian Catholic University

Semester 1 2025 offers |
| You can reactivate your offer until: 10 March 2025 Courses with a limited timeframe to accept offer and enrol with institution: Should you receive an offer into one of the following courses, you will be required to accept your CQUniversity offer and enrol* into units within a short timeframe, irrespective of whether you accepted conditionally or unconditionally. This timeframe varies. Please refer to the offer response date in your QTAC offer email.
*If you do not enrol into at least one unit for your course by the date specified, your offer will lapse and will be revoked. Contact CQUniversity if you need to reactivate the following courses, they can’t be reactivated through QTAC: Reinstatement into the following courses is generally not accepted and may only be approved if places remain in the course. Email your reinstatement request to CQUniversity Admissions on [email protected] explaining your reason for reinstatement and why you were unable to enrol by the set timeframe. Supporting documentation should be provided with the reinstatement request.

Semester 2 2025 offers |

Documentary evidence should be provided with the reinstatement request. Reinstatement will be limited and depend on places available.
Should you receive an offer into one of the programs above you will be required to enrol into classes* within a short timeframe. This information will be included in your Starting@Griffith email and expressed in the number of days from the day of issue of your email and is in line with the offer response date in your QTAC offer email. Please note that the number of days can vary depending on when the offer was made. This requirement applies irrespective of whether you accepted conditionally or unconditionally. If you do not enrol* into at least one class for your program by 5pm on the response day your offer will lapse. Lapsed offers are not automatically reinstated and reinstatement is subject to available places.
